How long does a kitchen remodel take?

A cosmetic update — counters, cabinets, and backsplash — sits at the shorter end, while a full gut renovation with layout changes, new plumbing, and electrical work runs longer. We provide a detailed schedule before work begins and keep you updated at every stage.
Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?
Not usually — during demolition and installation the kitchen is out of service. We help you set up a temporary kitchen space with your refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in another room, seal off the work area to control dust, and sequence the work to restore your sink and appliances as quickly as possible.

Our Kitchen Remodel Process — What to Expect

- Demolition & Rough-InOnce permits are issued, demolition begins. Cabinets, countertops, and flooring are removed. Plumbing rough-in for sink and dishwasher is relocated if needed. - Cabinet InstallationCabinets are delivered and installed level and plumb to manufacturer specifications. Shims and blocking ensure every door and drawer operates correctly. Upper cabinets go first, then base cabinets, then fillers and trim.

For a full gut renovation with floor removal and extensive dust, many clients prefer to stay elsewhere for the first 2 to 3 weeks of demolition and rough-in.
